Marigold isn't going anywhere, but it's growing up. Instead of dense garlands, we're draping loose marigold strings through minimalist steel frames — traditional colour, architectural restraint.
2. Mandaps as sculpture
Think less "flower wall" and more standalone art piece — asymmetric canopies, exposed wood, a single dramatic floral cascade instead of wall-to-wall coverage. It photographs beautifully and costs less than a fully-packed structure.
3. Sustainable florals
More couples are asking us to reuse mandap flowers for the reception, or to work with potted plants that guests can take home. It is kinder to the budget and the planet.
4. Warm, low-glare lighting
Harsh LED walls are giving way to warm string lights, lanterns and uplighting that flatters skin tones in photos — a small change that makes every album look ten times more expensive.
